Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most acclaimed actors. She is known for her strong character who are also fragile. As a teenager, she spent her summers at her father's house, she developed an interest for the stage. Following her studies in Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. Within a mere two years following graduation the actress began her Broadway career. Following that, she made her first appearance in the world of film and television. In the years since, she's appeared in numerous films, television productions as well as stage productions. She has been nominated for three Academy Awards, five Tony Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), and received several awards during her time on the stage.
